Why DCI

One team. Every trade. Total accountability.

For over 50 years, DCI has self-performed every phase of commercial site work — so the people who scope your project are the same ones who finish it.

Our Story

From one truck to five trades.

DCI was built on a simple idea: do the job right, take ownership, and treat every site like it matters. Five decades later, the mission hasn't changed.

The Beginning1972

Founded in St. Louis

Started as a small asphalt crew. One truck, a handful of workers, and a commitment to doing the job right.

ExpansionGrowth

Expanded Into Five Trades

Added concrete, excavation, drainage, and site restoration — all self-performed by our own crews.

50+ Years, Same Values

Serving commercial properties and municipalities across the St. Louis metro. The mission hasn't changed.

Our Process

How a DCI project actually runs.

Three phases, one accountable team. No subcontracted unknowns, no finger-pointing — just a clear path from first site visit to final walkthrough.

01

We Scope Based on Actual Site Conditions, Not Just Plans.

Before quoting or scheduling, our team visits the site to evaluate conditions firsthand. We perform no-cost pavement core samples when needed, assess drainage, and identify any factors that could affect the project.

  • No-cost site evaluations
  • Pavement core sampling
  • Drainage and base assessment
  • Accurate scope documentation
